We're a new business that's looking to hire individuals to help us form our team! We are looking to hire 1-2 part time retail associates to work evenings and weekends at our storefront located at 1377 Hamilton Street, inside The Local Market.
- Customer service representative. Assisting customers in store, refilling and selling products.
- Maintain a fun and supportive environment. Help inspire and educate others in their zero waste journey.
- Replenishing stock and general store cleaning.
- Opening and closing store procedures.
- Retail, customer service and sales experience is an asset but we are willing to train the right individual.
- Passion for the environment or a willingness to learn about zero waste and natural products.
- Understanding the importance of supporting local, small shops, makers and our community.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Ability to problem solve and work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for majority of the shift and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be willing to wear a mask during Covid-19.
